The Turquoise Necklace

In 1962 Jackie set off for India with her sister on an "unofficial" state visit. On the second day of the trip, Jackie was presented with a gift from Prime Minister Nehru and his daughter. The gift consisted of a full suite with a Necklace, Bracelet, earrings and brooch. Camrose & Kross has replicated the necklace and bracelet (also available on this website) but the earrings and brooch are missing and therefore could not be replicated. The stones are set away from the skin, by the use of a concave Maltese cross on the back, so if the stones get hot from the sun, the heat is not transfered to the wearing. That is attention to detail. The necklace is platinum plated. Necklace is 17" long, adjustable to 20".
