Bouquet Bracelet

In the summer of 1962, Jackie made an official visit to India and Pakistan and brought her sister Princess Lee Radziwill as a companion and friend. Jackie was extremely shy and felt she could handle the intense pressure better if her beloved sister accompanied her. During the Cold War period, both the Western Powers and the Eastern Powers were trying to woo the newly independent country of India, headed by Nehru. It was Jackie's goal, set by JFK, to try to win Nehru over to the side of the west, and she did exactly that. To say thank you for the once-in-a-lifetime experience, Princess Radziwill acquired this bracelet as a gift for Jackie.
